how we are tackling Coronavirus
Regular testing and temperature checks for staff, visitors, and residents.
Full PPE provided.
Enhanced cleaning routine.
Vaccinations now taking place/
Safety measures for new residents in place.
We can support with virtual visits by telephone or video communication, and also have the facilities to use these means for professional contact.
Where possible, face to face visits take place outside in a quiet area of the garden. With the Cornish weather in mind, this is not always possible! Therefore, we have a dedicated separate area of the home that we can use for indoor visits. Visits must be prebooked to ensure this area is available and can be thoroughly sanitised, and visitors are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to their visit to undertake a test. Entrance into the home will only be granted if this test indicates a negative result. Visitors are asked to wear appropriate PPE and practice good hand hygiene throughout the duration of their visit.
